Il permet d\u2019aligner les attentes entre toutes les parties sur la qualit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es, avec des moyens concrets pour mesurer et suivre le respect de ces engagements.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"826\" data-end=\"1357\">\u00c0 l\u2019image des SLAs pour les services informatiques (disponibilit\u00e9 logicielle, d\u00e9lais de r\u00e9ponse, etc.), les data SLAs formalisent publiquement ce que les utilisateurs peuvent attendre des donn\u00e9es partag\u00e9es \u2014 ainsi que les cons\u00e9quences en cas de non-respect. Cela est d\u2019autant plus important dans un contexte o\u00f9 les donn\u00e9es sont produites de mani\u00e8re de plus en plus distribu\u00e9e et partag\u00e9es \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle. Les data SLAs renforcent la communication, construisent la confiance et augmentent la valeur et l\u2019usage des donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1359\" data-end=\"1687\">Un data SLA peut \u00eatre interne (entre producteurs et consommateurs de donn\u00e9es) ou externe, par exemple entre une entreprise et ses clients lorsqu\u2019elle fournit des services bas\u00e9s sur les donn\u00e9es.
