Frederick’s experience and expertise

Frederick has spent 15 years at the intersection of complex systems and human outcomes. Currently serving as Senior Solution Engineer at Snowflake, he focuses on bridging the gap between raw information and outcome-critical decisions.

With a deep technical background in Data Platforms, Business Intelligence, and Artificial Intelligence, Frederick views data not as a series of rows and columns, but as a digital heartbeat. His career is defined by the belief that when data is managed with precision and empathy, it becomes a proactive shield for the vulnerable.

A word from Frederick

"Decision-makers have a better chance of making the right decision when they have access to the right data and the right platforms and knowledge to analyze this data."

Frederick's vision

What is your founding conviction, and how does it translate into your daily actions?

My founding conviction is that data can save lives, and is the bridge between uncertainty and timely intervention. For example, in healthcare, a single data point can determine an outcome.

Concretely, this translates into my daily action by:

  • Prioritizing data quality and timeliness, ensuring accuracy in outcome-critical contexts;
  • Designing systems that emphasize human-centric AI, empowering human intuition;
  • Championing data accessibility for decision-makers on the ground;
  • Ensuring a rigid ethical framework that protects the privacy of the data owners.

What is the role of the data leader today in creating a life-saving impact?

The data leader is a guardian and a visionary. Their role is to:

  • Lead with purpose, ensuring that technological advancement is always anchored in ethical responsibility;
  • Humanize the data, transforming abstract statistics into stories of real people and real outcomes;
  • Foster resilience, by building predictive models that help anticipate and mitigate risks.

Frederick's inspirations

Personalities who inspire me

  • Alan Turing for their early pioneering work in the field of Artificial Intelligence. He is widely regarded as the father of Theoretical Computer Science.
  • David Shapiro for their contributions to the ethical use of Data and AI, focusing on transparency and responsible system design.

My favorite quote

« Data tells a story. The story of what happened, and of what is to be. »

My work routines

  • Always asking “Who does this help? How and why does it help them?” before starting any new data engagement.
  • Engaging in Storytelling with non-technical stakeholders to ensure real-world relevance.
  • Constant learning in Ethical AI, Data Analytics, AI Solutions, and Cloud Computing to stay ahead of the curve.
