Jean-Philippe’s experience and expertise
Jean-Philippe Clément is Deputy Director General of Services, in charge of Public Space and Local Facilities, at the City Hall of Paris’s 17th arrondissement. In this role, he leads and coordinates local public services and policies aimed at improving residents’ quality of life, balancing public service quality, operational efficiency, and close attention to uses and users.
Formerly Head of the Smart and Sustainable City mission and of the data strategy for the City of Paris, he has strong experience in leading transformation projects within local government. Issues related to digital and environmental transitions, public innovation, data, and supporting operational teams are central to his work and thinking.
Alongside his operational responsibilities in the 17th arrondissement, Jean-Philippe Clément is also the producer and co-host of the radio show “Parlez-moi d’IA” (Talk to me about AI) on Cause-Commune.fm (93.1 FM in Paris). By welcoming guests actively engaged in data and AI topics, the program aims to unpack and shed light on the challenges and impacts of the rapid emergence of AI in our lives.
