Jelle van Etten is the Head of Global Data Platform at Heineken, where he leads the development and management of the company’s enterprise-wide data architecture, analytics and AI capabilities. With extensive experience in data strategy, digital transformation, cloud platforms, and business intelligence, he drives initiatives that turn complex data into actionable insights, supporting decision-making across marketing, operations, supply chain, and finance.
In his role, Jelle focuses on building scalable, resilient, and secure data infrastructures that enable Heineken to leverage advanced analytics, AI, and real-time reporting. From the company’s head office in Amsterdam he enables its digital transformation goals and drives insights across business units and worldwide markets, helping the company maximize the value of its data assets globally.
Over the past years Heineken has focused its technology investments to drive its Best Connected Brewer strategy. With his engineering teams, Jelle has built and empowered the business with cloud based technology platforms and services to accelerate analytics and AI/ML value cases. Many successful use-cases have been deployed across these analytics platforms and adopted by business teams.
