Maxime Havez

Maxime Havez is the Chief Data Officer of the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa Group, where he spearheads AI strategy and innovation and serves as a key architect of the group’s data vision. An INSA graduate, he built a robust track record across various sectors before transitioning to the bancassurance industry. There, he leads digital transformation, focusing on the industrialization of data use cases and Artificial Intelligence.

He manages an organization of approximately 100 employees and partners, covering data platform architecture, the AI Factory, data and digitalization governance, and innovation.

Under his leadership, the Data Office has deployed over 30 AI use cases, strengthened responsible and controlled governance, and contributed to the group’s hybrid data platform (balancing cloud and on-premise solutions), while continuously evolving the innovation strategy.

His role is to provide strategic direction, structure collective action, and ensure alignment between technological ambition, regulatory requirements, and value creation. Committed to controlled, responsible, and trustworthy AI, he promotes open and sustainable approaches, placing innovation at the service of business lines and the group’s overall performance.
