Morgane’s experience and expertise

Morgane Dawant is a data engineer and executive with over twelve years of experience at ENGIE, a global leader in the energy transition. She serves as Chief Data & AI Officer for ENGIE’s Local Energy Infrastructures Global Business Unit (GBU), one of the company’s four global business units, operating in eight countries.

Morgane leads teams dedicated to strategic value creation from data and artificial intelligence. Her primary goal is to identify ways to drive benefits from data and AI in line with business and operational priorities, and to realize that value through the industrialization of sustainable solutions.

Her vision is pragmatic and human-centered, focusing on creating value and engaging her teams. She has deep expertise across the full spectrum of data projects, from proof-of-concept development to solution industrialization.

Committed to knowledge sharing, Morgane is also Vice-President of the Board of Wikimedia France. A regular speaker on data and AI topics, she inspires and trains professionals to use these technologies responsibly and effectively. She embodies a new generation of leaders who combine technical expertise, strategic vision, and a commitment to positive impact.
